Take 2
As I said moments ago I had this great little blog written about random things and my silly blog decided to not post it or save it. I guess that is one of the many problems with being a little behind in wordpress updates.
At any rate here is take 2 of that entry.
I need to write more often. Why? Well writing/blogging is a release for me. It clears my mind and heart and gives me something to do. Not to mention my readership of this lovely space has increased here recently. So you should give the people what they want – something to read.
Since you want to read and you enjoy what I write (or at least I like to think that) I figure I’ll update you on some things that are semi-random in my life.
1 – I have a new addiction to YouTube. It’s because I got a new phone (let’s hear it for the Blackberry Storm) and it has a YouTube application on it. So when times of boredom hit I can watch random videos. Let me share 3 gems with you…
Mamma’s Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Pastors Funny because it’s true. Thanks to Pastor Jesse for this gem.
Evolution of Dance Part 2 Nothing says awesome like the twist to the tootsie roll. Thanks to Chris for this gem.
Penn Says: A Gift of the Bible Penn from Penn & Teller talks about a fan’s gift of the Bible. Personally I really like this and I think there is a whole blog entry off this one video. I have no idea where I found this one.
2 – I am starting some new photography projects that I hope all will enjoy. Carol is having me photograph her GIOTGU little guys. (If you don’t know what I am talking about you soon will and you will thank me for it.) I am also participating the Love Project on Flickr (I just got my hearts today!). And I have a few theme ideas in my head that I am going to try out, so be prepared I am going to need some test subjects.
3 – I am making preparations to adopt a puppy. It’s funny I know I have some OCD tendencies but they have surfaced in this little adventure. Some of what I have done to start getting ready is start a puppy emergency/savings fund, research various breeds, and starting buying the items needed to raise a puppy. It’s like bringing home a baby – got get the nursery ready. I am hoping to adopt in the spring, around March or so. Who really wants to potty train a puppy when it is so flippin’ cold outside!
4 – I will finish up this little entry by imploring you to check out my friend Brad blog’s. He is collecting 1,000 Beautiful Things. It’s simple go to his blog and leave a comment of the things you find beautiful and then read what everyone else finds beautiful. You will be encouraged and even laugh some too.
To show you it’s not so scary here are the things I have added to the list thus far -
293. A great picture.
294. My neiece Olivia. (I swear I can spell…well maybe sometimes.)
295. My friends who are my family.
