Uncle Tommy

So my Uncle Tommy passed away on Monday. He was my father’s brother.

He told a couple good stories on my dad which I have stored away for future use. :)

Here’s the obit

Thomas J. Tucker, 58, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2008 in Fairfield, Ohio. He was a Baptist by faith and worked at Kenny’s Auto Sales for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Orpha Wilson Tucker; and three brothers, Amos, Luther and Joe Tucker.

He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Holford and husband, Shawn of Rossville, Ind.; son, Johnny Tucker of Rossville, Ind.; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Maxine West and Christeen Brantley of Indiana, Eslie Sawyers of Ohio and Irene Sowder of Somerset; two brothers, Oscar Tucker of Alexandria, Ky. and Herman Tucker of Somerset; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who will all mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2008 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
